LynXYilin. G is a Canada-based illustrator and painter deeply influenced by Western classical painting, 2000s Japanese manga, gothic and alternative fashion cultures. Drawing from multiple traditions, her work explores the interplay between personal identity, mood, and visual expression in contemporary storytelling. Her practice is defined by expressive linework and richly layered color. Through drawing and painting, she translates complex inner emotional states into visual form, often using garments, silhouettes, and stylized figures to explore mood, attitude, and cultural hybridity. Guan approaches illustration as a space where different visual traditions intersect. Influences from classical drawing, East Asian visual sensibilities, and Western alternative culture combine to create images that are both precise and emotionally charged. She currently works as part of the studio Three Days Art, a collective focused on illustration and visual storytelling.
